WHAT IS THE ANZBYC?
The Australia New Zealand Buddhist Youth Conference (ANZBYC) was first held in Sydney in 1997, with the guidance of Venerable Man Chien. Since then, various Young Adult Division (YAD) branches across the Oceania region took turns organising this conference.
The conference provides an opportunity for youths to learn the roots of Buddhism and various ways of applying Buddhist teachings in a practical manner in different aspects of their lives. Not only does the conference allow youths to further their understanding of Buddhism, it also serves as a means for youths to develop vital leadership skills.
The ANZBYC also brings together like-minded youths together from different paths of Oceania, forming life-changing affinities.
